 Lionel Messi, often regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, was born on June 24, 1987, in Rosario,Argentina.

• Childhood and Early Challenges: Messi showed an immense talent for football from a young age. However, he was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency at the age of 11. His family couldn't afford the treatment, but FC Barcelona offered to pay for it if he moved to Spain and joined their youth academy, La Misia.
