Liverpool FC

 Liverpool Football Club is a  professional football club based in Liverpool, England. The club competes in the Premier League, the top tier of English football. 

Founded in 1892, Liverpool has grown to become one of the most successful and renowned football clubs in the world, boasting a rich history filled with domestic and international triumphs. 

History 

Liverpool was founded following a dispute between the Everton committee and John Houlding, the club's president and owner of the land at Afield. 

After Everton moved to Goodison Park in 1892, Houlding founded Liverpool F.C to play at Afield. The club joined the football League in 1893 and won its first League title in 1901.

Stadium 

The club has played at Anfield since its formation. Located in the Anfield area of Liverpool, the Stadium has a seating capacity of around 53,000.

Afield is renowned for it's intimidating atmosphere, particularly the Spion Kop stand, where passionate supporters gather to cheer on the team. 

The Club's anthem, "You'll Never Walk Alone," is song before every home match, creating one of the most iconic atmosphere in world football. 

Colors and Crest

Liverpool's home colors are all red, which has been the case 1964 when manager Bill Shankly decided to switch from the Transitional red shirts and white shorts.

The club's Crest features a liver bird, a symbol of the city of Liverpool, with the club's motto, "You'll Never Walk Alone," displayed prominently.
